''This interaction we don't see very often!''

First ISC project at Woonzorgcentrum Hanzeborg!

The first ISC project has been tested at Dutch nursing home Woonzorgcentrum Hanzeborg in Lelystad!

Although the people first had to get used to the idea, the group managed to experience an especially fun afternoon with lots of games, laughing and dancing, with wonderful pictures as a result!

Local eldercare specialist Luc Kemps tells all about the games they played together.

''The Swinging Top Maze quickly became everyone's favourite!''
The residents could hardly wait for it to be their turn. A few were so clever, they had figured out the workings of this eye-hand coordination game very quickly, and began teaching each other the best ways to get the little ball through the maze. A great way to train their cognitive skills together!

They also gave the Inspiration Wheel a few spins. When the arrow pointed to 'listen to music', great memories were soon brought up about the days when everyone would still dance the jive. Suddenly, people couldn't help but give it another try, and started to dance together!

"This interaction between residents we don't see very often'', Luc says with a big smile of contentment. "And the best part is, they can do this independently so us caregivers can help out with other things while they are having fun together."
